Gut Health and Cancer

Surviving cancer through good gut health

For over 20 years I have been advocating the importance to good gut health in prevention and survival of cancer. This is also important around all chronic illnesses of course.

If you have a weight issue – be it overweight or underweight, your gut health plays a leading role. If you have been diagnosed with cancer, your gut health has been compromised.

Many people who have food sensitivities, are asthmatic, autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, IBS, anxiety, dementia, and Crohn’s disease have issues with their gut health. Not only do they have an overload of yeast in their gut, but they also have parasites.

the forgotten secrets gut health and cancer

My books about gut health and cancer

Since writing my first edition back in 2009, there are now many books on the subject and a great deal more now coming forth from aware practitioners around the world.

Lately on social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and even some mainstream news has been sharing the truth about the importance of gut health.

Yet here we are in the year 2024, with most of the community insisting on underrating the importance of having a healthy gut. They continue to put food in their body that is not only incredibly toxic; they also allow their children to eat this rubbish. This bit devastates me when I see children consuming junk foods filled with sugar and toxic chemicals that contain absolutely no nutrition whatsoever. To me it is a path to ill health earlier in their life and may lead to early cancer and/or other chronic illnesses later in life. Statistically cancer was seen mostly as a disease that affected most people over the age of fifty. Cancer is being diagnosed more often in children and young adults under the age of thirty. Sadly, it is lifestyle contributed to most cases.

I am also a great believer in nurturing the mother whilst being pregnant too. What an expectant mother consumes during pregnancy effects the unborn child. Gut health is so important too during this time.

Children’s Gut Health

A book that was gifted to me by Dr Peter Dingle called ‘My Dog Eats Better than Your Kids: and what you can do to change this’ is a must read for parents.

It has been proven that the gut is a second brain. Of course, it is logical that it is. What we place in our body effects our health in so many areas, both physically and mentally. What we place in our body effects all organs.

I have witnessed wonderful results with people suffering from depression and stress by implementing the gut protocols in my book.

Your healthy gut is the pathway to longevity

Seven foods to remove in your daily intake after you take on the protocols shared in my book. Your eagerness to heal from ill health is one thing, your continuation of healthy lifestyle needs to become a habit if you wish to live well without the signs of health related aging.

  1. Sugar laden and over processed foods.
  2. Processed Meats.
  3. Nonorganic fruit and vegetables.
  4. Cola and Soft Drinks.
  5. Highly Caffeinated Drinks.
  6. Artificial Sweetener.
  7. Breads that are white, brown and lack nutrition – go for essene sprouted breads or organic sour dough breads.

You can also learn how to create amazing raw foods. I make raw crackers, raw pizzas, and lots of wonderful easy to prepare raw healthy cakes and desserts that are gluten free, vegan and do not contain any nasties.

It is time to take responsibility for your health. We live on this earth for such a fleeting time, we need to take each day with joy and respect for our body and the body of those we care for.
